To be quite honest, I'm not sure how it all began. Whether it stems from the fact that whenever I went to my grandmothers house, she would always bring out crayons, colored pencils, markers and reams of paper. Or the simple fact that because my parents couldn't afford to buy us a lot of toys, I would spend my time letting my creative talents go to work, while my imagination supplied the ideas. Regardless of where it all stemmed from, art has always been a passion of mine. Whatever road I traveled throughout my life, whether they were dark and harsh paths or bright and happy paths, my experiences are reflected in my art. My life is my art and my art is abstract.
 

My name is Daniel Thomas Snitgen. I was born on February 18, 1966. I grew up in Clawson, MI and currently reside in Ferndale, MI. It brings me great pleasure to see and feel others' reactions and emotions when they view my work. My dream is to have my art displayed in galleries so that art loving people will have access to my creations and will enjoy my passion in their own homes.
